Td5 'Ultimate Larger Charger' Hybrid Turbo -

The Alive Tuning 'Ultimate Larger Charger' is the latest evolution of our previous Hybrid Turbocharger for all Td5 models. Produced exclusively for us by one of the UK's most respected turbocharger builders, with the quality you'd expect from Alive.

These are built from a brand new unit, which is stripped of all it's internals. The compressor and exhaust housings are then machined and gas flowed. The center bearing is replaced with a massively uprated unit, to match the much larger turbine shaft, which in turn holds the massive compressor wheel. The original spec wastegate actuator is cast asside to make way for an uprated item, which ensures far more accurately controlled boost.

These turbochargers are designed to increase usable torque all the way up to the rev limiter at 4850rpm (and beyond!). Torque is notably improved from the moment you set off, and continues to pull hard all the way through, giving massive mid range and top end gains.

Due to the increased efficiency of the turbo, any exhaust smoke seen with a standard turbo will be cleaned up, and indeed, with the correct fuelling can yield much greater gains over a much wider rpm range.

Power outputs of over 230bhp can be attained with this turbo, when coupled with the appropriate ECU mapping, and additional modifications.
